Heart that says I am grateful

10. Attitude of Gratitude: 5 Easy Ways to Practice Gratitude [Podcast]

Gratitude is as important as the air we breathe. That’s right, I said it.

Practicing gratitude actually expands into new opportunities to be grateful. I don’t know how it works, but it does! And for that, I am oh so grateful.

Now, I’m sure at this point you have heard all the great benefits to having both an attitude of gratitude and a regular gratitude practice…and if you haven’t don’t worry I tell you about them in today’s episode of Confidence with Caytie.

Kudos to all of who are disciplined to have a regular practice. But if you’re anything like me, you may start and stop. You may just be bored with what you’re doing and want to switch it up.

I’m giving you my 5 easy ways that you can start or change up your gratitude practice, even for a few minutes at a time, every single day. I promise you that if you can start to make any of these become habits, you’re going to start to feel different–happier, healthier, calmer, more in control, and obviously–more grateful.

After listening to the episode, I would love it…and be so flipping grateful… if you leave a comment below on the post about what you are doing in your current gratitude practice or what you are going to do differently going forward.

    Caytie,
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this podcast and the message that you’re spreading! I started practicing daily gratitude about 2 years ago when I was at a very low point and feeling sorry for myself. I read somewhere about the benefits of gratitude and focusing on the things you have (versus the things you don’t). So, I started writing down 3 things I was grateful for every single morning. It’s simple. I open up the Notes App on my phone and type out 3 things I’m grateful for (most days, I am easily able to write down more than 3 things!). I do this right when I wake up and I have a rule for myself that I cannot do anything else until I’ve completed this simple routine. In the time that I’ve been doing this, I have experienced so many of the benefits you mentioned (e.g., sleeping better, improved relationships, health benefits, etc.). I think it’s wonderful that you are encouraging others to start practicing gratitude. And I love the 5 tips you shared in your podcast. I plan on incorporating some of them into my daily routine!
You are amazing and so inspirational. Thank you for sharing your light and positivity with so many!
    Hugs,
    Lorilei
