Ava DuVernay quote, "When you're in your own lane, there is no traffic"

11. The Perfection Myth [Podcast]

Today we’re talking about something that holds many of us back.

The need, the desire, the myth that it’s all gotta be perfect.

The perfect opportunity, the perfect timing, the perfect version of ourselves.

Perfect…as in being entirely without fault or defect or said another way, corresponding to an ideal standard or abstract concept. *thanks Merriam-Webster for defining this for us

Oh goodness, I see it all the time. We stop ourselves because we believe the perfection myth.

Not anymore! In Episode 11 of Confidence with Caytie, we’re exposing the truth, that perfection is a myth. That no matter how perfect something appears, it’s just an appearance.

And we’re giving YOU permission to let go of the perfect, and live in the authentic!

Think about that thing that you desperately want to do, but you keep telling yourself that you haven’t reached the level of perfection yet to make it happen. The risk feels too big, the result too uncertain. What if we told you that by the end of this episode, you’d have the guts to try?

Go on now, let go of the perfection. Give it a listen.
